Somatic Self-Inquiry: Become Authentic, Deepen Relationships, and Express Your True Emotions

No more seeking—Discuss your issues with us and find your path forward.

K.I. is the most effective method for embodying your most authentic self.

Science shows that unexpressed emotions from childhood and trauma get stored inside the body and transmute into the root cause of psychological suffering and physical health issues, including anxiety, depression, addiction, spiritual seeking, and chronic pain.

Kiloby Inquiries, or simply K.I., is a spiritual self-therapy practice that allows you to contact and embody your repressed emotions and your most authentic self.

(They’re not always pretty)

  • Emotional repression is the unconscious suppression of essential emotions. Research shows that these emotions, often stemming from childhood, are stored in our bodies as a survival mechanism to stay safe and receive love.

When these emotions are buried and our repression mechanisms are locked in place, they become the root cause of psychological and physical health issues such as anxiety, depression, addiction, and chronic pain. Emotional repression can also lead to more subtle issues, like spiritual seeking, self-sabotage, relationship sabotage, and people-pleasing.

  • Since most emotional repression is unconscious, it can be difficult to recognize. However, a key indicator is suffering. Depression, anxiety, addiction, chronic pain, self-sabotage, and codependency are all rooted in repression mechanisms and the buried emotions they lock in place.

  • Inquiry is the process of challenging and questioning the beliefs, identities, and worldviews that sustain our suffering and keep our repression mechanisms unconscious.

In self-inquiry, we skillfully navigate through our thoughts, emotions, and body sensations by actively asking inquiry questions. This practice is common in Buddhism and other spiritual traditions as a means of self-liberation. Consistent inquiry practice is powerful because it can be done independently, without reliance on anyone else.

The Kiloby Inquiries (KI) stand apart from other practices by actively unearthing the root cause of what drives people to seek something to make them feel better—emotional repression and buried emotions.

  • KI is not a therapeutic modality but a spiritual practice. Based on our experience, natural recovery from suffering occurs organically when we bring into conscious awareness the somatic programs that keep certain emotions repressed in the body. We do not offer treatments or diagnoses, nor is the intention of our work to provide relief, though this is often a by-product of emotional repression work, along with increased joy, creative and energetic flow, fewer triggers, less concern with others' reactions, and greater authenticity in relationships.

We invite you to learn KI’s somatic tools and, with your consent, we mentor you in their skillful application during self-inquiry so that you can practice independently. We also offer one-on-one sessions to support your practice and experience.
