Watch as Scott takes Elizabeth through the "Unfindable Inquiry" in this private session. In sessions the client tries to find the "invisible self" using the UI. They cannot find it and so they find a release from that core sense of self. *These inquiries invite us to notice when we are experiencing separate objects and then actively inquire into what thoughts, emotions, and sensations make up the object. In looking for the separate object (but only finding individual arisings such as thoughts, emotions, and sensation), we see through the belief in separation—through the belief that there is a separate object there at all. Come and explore these inquiries with us!]]><![CDATA[Addiction (Seeing the Inner and Outer as Inseparable)]]>Sun, 18 Nov 2012 19:53:59http://kiloby.com/recovery.php?writingid=363<![CDATA[Natural Rest Coming in Early 2013]]>Sat, 10 Nov 2012 15:56:06http://kiloby.com/recovery.php?writingid=362<![CDATA[Interview with Nina Carmel (Part 1)]]>Sat, 3 Nov 2012 06:22:37http://kiloby.com/uploads/NinaCarmel2012(Part_1)0.mp3<![CDATA[Interview with Nina Carmel (Part 2)]]>Sat, 3 Nov 2012 06:12:10http://kiloby.com/uploads/NinaCarmel2012(Part_2)0.mp3<![CDATA[A Manifesto for a New Recovery]]>Sat, 18 Aug 2012 20:12:49http://kiloby.com/recovery.php?writingid=357<![CDATA[Beyond Addiction to Temporal Objects]]>Sun, 5 Aug 2012 03:47:45http://kiloby.com/recovery.php?writingid=355<![CDATA[Deconstructing the Teacher Using the UI]]>Sun, 1 Jul 2012 10:44:20http://kiloby.com/uploads/Deconstructing_the_teacher_using_the_UI_inquiry1.mp3<![CDATA[After the Fall]]>Wed, 27 Jun 2012 07:25:39http://kiloby.com/writings.php?writingid=353<![CDATA[Introduction to Natural Rest (Part 2)]]>Thu, 24 May 2012 09:26:57http://kiloby.com/uploads/Natural_Rest_Introduction_(Part_2)0.mp3<![CDATA[Introduction to Natural Rest (Part 1)]]>Thu, 24 May 2012 09:03:16http://kiloby.com/uploads/Natural_Rest_Introduction_(Part_1)0.mp3<![CDATA[Freedom Is]]>Tue, 24 Apr 2012 14:23:54http://kiloby.com/writings.php?writingid=350<![CDATA[Incomprehensibly Simple]]>Mon, 26 Mar 2012 19:06:19http://kiloby.com/writings.php?writingid=349<![CDATA[Morning Meditation (Unfinding the Addict)]]>Sun, 11 Mar 2012 06:54:06http://kiloby.com/uploads/Morning_Addiction_Meditation20.mp3<![CDATA[Transformation (Seeing through the world, not negating it)]]>Sat, 3 Mar 2012 12:51:31http://kiloby.com/uploads/Transformation_(seeing_through_the_mind_not_negating_it)0.mp3<![CDATA[Don't Sell Yourself Short]]>Thu, 9 Feb 2012 09:26:35http://kiloby.com/writings.php?writingid=344<![CDATA[Reality Tunnels]]>Sun, 5 Feb 2012 08:08:52http://kiloby.com/writings.php?writingid=343<![CDATA[Like a Breeze]]>Fri, 3 Feb 2012 15:46:24http://kiloby.com/writings.php?writingid=342<![CDATA[Happiness Is Inevitable and Inescapable]]>Wed, 25 Jan 2012 21:46:29http://kiloby.com/writings.php?writingid=341<![CDATA[Love!]]>Sat, 14 Jan 2012 06:54:37http://kiloby.com/videos.php?videoid=338What happens when we no longer try to medicate pain and it's fully allowed to be? It is freedom from fixed viewpoints about yourself, others, and the world. But it is also freedom from fixed viewpoints that there is no self, no other, and no world. It is freedom from fixed views such as "everything exists separately" and "nothing exists." Freedom from "I am a separate person" and from "All is Oneness," as fixed views. It is freedom from personal viewpoints and impersonal viewpoints. It is freedom from relying exclusively on thinking in your life. Yet it is freedom from denying thought altogether. The Middle Way is, ultimately, the view of this site and Scott's message. Scott's Living Realization text is a Middle Way view. When you have no fixed conception of reality, every viewpoint is allowed to be just as it is. You are not stuck in the belief in separation, yet you do not deny conventional existence. All of this may or may not sound really heavy, conceptual, or transcendent, but it is what the great traditions have talked about for centuries. In Zen, it is the "return to the marketplace." In Advaita, it is Shankara's "Brahman is the World." And in Buddhism, it is the Middle Way. In the Middle Way, love, compassion, joy, peace, and freedom are your constant companions.]]><![CDATA[NEW The Middle Way, Part 2]]>Sat, 11 Dec 2010 10:24:24http://kiloby.com/videos.php?videoid=275Second video in a two part series, view Part 1 first]]><![CDATA[Suzanne Foxton, December 2010]]>Thu, 9 Dec 2010 16:23:08http://kiloby.com/uploads/SuzanneFoxtonNov20100.mp3<![CDATA[The Middle Way]]>Thu, 25 Nov 2010 06:28:46http://kiloby.com/writings.php?writingid=272<![CDATA[Spiritual Bubbles]]>Mon, 22 Nov 2010 07:28:16http://kiloby.com/writings.php?writingid=270<![CDATA[Bentinho Massaro Interview, November 2010]]>Sat, 20 Nov 2010 05:55:52http://kiloby.com/uploads/BentinhoOct20100.mp3<![CDATA[Jerry Katz Interview, October 2010]]>Fri, 19 Nov 2010 05:20:15http://kiloby.com/uploads/JerryKatzOct20100.mp3<![CDATA[What Does the "Me" Thought Refer To?]]>Sun, 7 Nov 2010 16:35:36http://kiloby.com/writings.php?writingid=266<![CDATA[Shadows]]>Tue, 2 Nov 2010 07:14:41http://kiloby.com/writings.php?writingid=263<![CDATA[Can You Find a Separate Object?]]>Tue, 19 Oct 2010 05:36:06http://kiloby.com/uploads/Canyoufindaseparateobject(820.mp3<![CDATA[Gina Lake, October 2010]]>Tue, 19 Oct 2010 05:08:58http://kiloby.com/uploads/KilobyLake_Interview_Edited0.mp3<![CDATA[Does silence equal nonduality? Jeff and Scott discuss how causal emptiness is different from nonduality. Jeff explains that integral seems to really come online with the capacity to integrate views. At certain stages of our lives, we really believe that only our single view or interpretation or state is correct. In realizing causal emptiness, that seems to be an arriving point. The conceptual world falls away. The mountains vanish. But as they say in Zen, "the mountains return," but they are seen to be none other than your Self. And so the whole world comes alive at Integral: "Brahman is the world."

At integral, paradoxes are held. One no longer clings to only one view including the view that non-conceptual emptiness is the only view or that non-duality is some kind of end point. As emptiness is seen as none other than form, as the appearances are seen as not independent of awareness, there is the possibility of not clinging to any single form, or single view. This is a discovery of the world you thought you knew, but that now looks very different. At integral, every view is included. It is no longer about "only my view is true," the question becomes, "What else is true?"]]><![CDATA[Rest in Relationship, Part 3]]>Tue, 4 Aug 2009 18:47:08http://kiloby.com/uploads/Part3Restinrelationship0.mp3<![CDATA[Rest in Relationship, Part 2]]>Tue, 4 Aug 2009 18:42:47http://kiloby.com/uploads/Part2Restinrelationship0.mp3<![CDATA[Rest in Relationship, Part 1]]>Tue, 4 Aug 2009 18:40:19http://kiloby.com/uploads/Part1Restinrelationship0.mp3<![CDATA[Richard Miller, August 2009]]>Sat, 1 Aug 2009 16:53:21http://kiloby.com/uploads/RichardMillerAug20090.mp3<![CDATA[The Lie of Obscuration (Kilobit)]]>Fri, 31 Jul 2009 06:16:20http://kiloby.com/uploads/Thelieofobscurationlouder0.mp3<![CDATA[Perfect Seamlessness]]>Mon, 27 Jul 2009 07:07:52http://kiloby.com/writings.php?writingid=109<![CDATA[Jackie O'Keeffe, July 2009]]>Sat, 25 Jul 2009 11:34:17http://kiloby.com/uploads/JackieokeeffeJuly20090.mp3<![CDATA[Unmani July 2009, Part 2]]>Fri, 24 Jul 2009 20:30:34http://kiloby.com/uploads/Unmani_July_2009_Part_20.mp3<![CDATA[NEW-Unmani July 2009, Part 1]]>Mon, 20 Jul 2009 19:39:02http://kiloby.com/uploads/Unmani_July_2009_Part_10.mp3<![CDATA[Don't Miss One Half of Spirit]]>Mon, 20 Jul 2009 18:12:19http://kiloby.com/writings.php?writingid=105<![CDATA[Jeff Saltzman, Boulder Integral, Part 1]]>Sat, 18 Jul 2009 19:24:29http://kiloby.com/uploads/SaltzmanJuly2009part10.mp3<![CDATA[Jeff Saltzman, Boulder Integral, Part 2]]>Sat, 18 Jul 2009 19:14:57http://kiloby.com/uploads/SaltzmanJuly2009part20.mp3<![CDATA[Rabbi Marc Gafni, July 2009 Part 1]]>Sat, 18 Jul 2009 18:57:23http://kiloby.com/uploads/MarcGafni2009Part10.mpeg<![CDATA[Everyday Awareness]]>Sun, 12 Jul 2009 05:44:50http://kiloby.com/videos.php?videoid=97This is the simplest thing, so simple that a concept can never grasp it. What you are is the awake space that is looking now. The content of awareness is not what you are. Therefore, the constant looking back into past to measure whether you are better or more at peace now than you were back then just strengthens ego. And projecting forward to a time when you believe you will be freer or more at peace does the same. This measuring back and projecting forward is the content of awareness. It is the time-bound, thought-based false self. What is being pointed to here is the awareness in which content arises. That awareness is what you really are. In that recognition, all personal seeking and suffering ends. Nothing is carried over in time. Everything is allowed to be just as it is, right now.
