Kilologues
Scott is pleased to present this unique page called "KiloLogues." There are two types of KiloLogues:
1) Recordings with Scott pointing called Kilobits.
2) Audio dialogues between Scott and various teachers, writers, and friends regarding the subject of non-duality called KiloLogues.
New KiloLogues are added to this page on a regular basis. Allow time for downloading or opening file. In the summary next to each KiloLogue, there may be bio information, a short summary of the discussion, and a link to the person's site. If not, the audio itself will contain instructions on how to find bio information.

Interview with Nina Carmel (Part 1)
This was a fascinating conversation for me. Nina brings a new twist with her perspective on the spiritual/satsang scene and the teacher/student relationship. Many of her insights have mirrored mine, after being a part of this scene for a while. I think you will find this conversation interesting, and perhaps a bit controversial . . . but definitely enlightening in its own way.
Interview with Nina Carmel (Part 2)
Part 2 of my discussion with Nina. Further refining the points mentioned in the first part of the interview.
Deconstructing the Teacher Using the UI
This audio uses the Unfindable Inquiry to deconstruct the notion of a separate authority or teacher, which makes us either follow or fight blindly in relationship.
Transformation (Seeing through the world, not negating it)
This is an audio from Scott, discussing the difference between negating and denying the world and thought and seeing through these things.
Greg Goode, Emptiness, Part 1
Part 1 of a two-part series. Scott speaks to Greg Goode about Madhyamaka Emptiness teachings. Greg sets it out clearly. This emptiness teaching is a nice alternative to awareness styled teachings. Greg is working on a fresh new approach that uses Western sources in addition to Buddhist sources, coming soon . . . Check out Greg at www.heartofnow.com
Greg Goode, Emptiness, Part 2
Part 2 of a two-part series. Scott speaks to Greg Goode about Madhyamaka Emptiness teachings. Greg sets it out clearly. This emptiness teaching is a nice alternative to awareness styled teachings. Jeff Foster and Scott Kiloby, Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Nonduality (But Were Afraid to Ask)
Jeff and Scott reconvene in their ongoing dialogue about freedom. They don't purport to be experts. There is no ultimate authority. But they are experts in their own experience, like everyone else. And in this discussion, they speak about their experience, running the full gamut between notions of Absolute and relative and all things in between. July 2011
Bentinho Massaro and Scott Kiloby, June 2011
This is one of the most unique and fresh Kilologues so far. See Bentinho's site at www.free-awareness.com.
Emptiness Teachings with Susan Kahn
This is an great interview with Susan Kahn about a particular school of Buddhism (Madhyamaka) that isn't well known in modern nondual circles. It's a unique approach (unlike Advaita and more well-known nondual teachings). Check it out. Her site is www.emptinessteachings.com
Freedom in the Workplace
Jeff Munn from Corporate Zendo and Scott talk about how (or whether) freedom transforms the workplace. What is a corporate identity? Is it like an ego? They discuss these questions and many others. See Jeff's site called "Corporate Zendo" at http://corporatezendo.blogspot.com

Bentinho Massaro Interview, November 2010
This is my interview with Bentinho Massaro. His site is www.free-awareness.com. Bentinho gives us crystal clear talk about being free in this lifetime. There is a level of maturity here that is quite rare, especially at the end where he talks of always being within a conceptual reality even though awareness is ever present.
Jerry Katz Interview, October 2010
I call Jerry the forefather of modern, internet nonduality. His site is www.nonduality.com. Here we discuss the latest rumblings on this topic, and how it seems to be reaching a larger audience.
Can You Find a Separate Object?
Audio of Scott inviting us to look into our experience to see if the objects we take to be existing as separate things on their "own side" are really thoughts, emotions, and sensations appearing to awareness.
Gina Lake, October 2010
Here is my KiloLogue with Gina Lake. Radicalhappiness.com. Enjoy!
Does silence equal nonduality? A message from Scott
These mp3s on the KiloLogues page where Scott is talking, alone, are mixed in a studio and therefore a good quality for ipods. This one deals with the question of whether nonduality is silence.
Painful Emotions Mix
This is Scott's music project, "Voice in Head" playing music to a talk Scott gave on Painful Emotions.
Westerly Meeting, September 2010
Here is an audio recording of a recent meeting of Scott's in Westerly, Rhode Island. This is about inquiring into what, within us, resists complete freedom.
Can we hear each other? (Kilobit)
What does it mean to really listen? An audio from Scott
Painful Emotions (Kilobit)
Audio from Scott. Anger is love. Fear is love. What is it like when we stop believing that enlightenment is about a pain-free existence? Then everything that appears is perfect, just because it is appearing. A story of self can never see that. Look from the place that is not a story.
KiloLogue with Matt Kahn, July 2010
Matt Kahn (Ganesh Das) is an American-born spiritual teacher who offers sacred heart wisdom to awaken the joy of liberated existence in the lives of all. After receiving a shaktipat transmission and a direct blessing from Ram Dass to teach, Matt, along with his partner - meditation guide and yoga teacher, Julie Dittmar, travel the world, inviting seekers of all faiths to discover their true divine nature. http://www.TrueDivineNature.com

A wonderful conversation with Diane Musho Hamilton, who is the first successor in Genpo Roshi's Big Mind Process lineage. This dialogue involves the issue of shadows and shadow work. Amazing stuff!
NEW-Nicholas Powiull-December 2009
Humble, clear message. Enjoy!
NEW-Kiloby Meeting, Inseparability Part 1, August 2009
This is a recording of a recent meeting where the topic is inseparability. Specifically, we discuss that the appearances of awareness (thoughts, emotions, experiences, states, and events) are inseparable from awareness itself. Stated another way, emptiness is none other than form. Stated yet another way, nothing is being everything. These are not just fancy "enlightened" ideas. This is the key to freedom and fullness. The great news is that this recognition is available right here, right now in your present experience.
NEW-Kiloby Meeting, Inseparability Part 2, August 2009
Part 2 of the Skype meeting on Inseparability
NEW-Michael Thielmann
Michael's blog is www.ididntfinditandneitherwillyou.blogspot.com. Good, clear, refreshing voice!
NEW-Timothy Freke, August 2009
Tim's message, although delivered somewhat differently, resonates very much with mine. Non-dual realization that includes the realm of duality. That is love. Great stuff! For those with a Christian background, Tim's discussion of Gnostic Christianity may resolve a few issues.
Rest in Relationship, Part 1
Scott talking about rest in relationship. This is a three part series. This is what your spiritual teacher may not tell you (because she doesn't know).
Rest in Relationship, Part 2
In being able to take the perspective of another, rather than merely saying there is no other, unconditional love becomes more than just lip service.
The Lie of Obscuration (Kilobit)
This is not an interview. This is a twenty minute audio of Scott addressing the lie that anything could actually obscure awareness. He points to the fact that direct experience shows that nothing actually obscures our true identity as awareness. Everything--every thought, emotion, state, and experience--actually proves that our true identity is awareness.
One Love, Musical Version of the Linchitz Kilologue
Here a friend, JD, put parts of my KiloLogue with Rick Linchitz over a beat. Enjoy it. It's called "One Love."
Rest in Relationship, Part 3
Is it possible that the others you are fighting are shadows of your own story?
Rick Linchitz, August 2009
Rick is certainly one of my favorite KiloLogues thus far. Enjoy!
Richard Miller, August 2009
Richard is the founder of Integrative Restoration Institute which is an umbrella organization for the Center of Timeless Being and IRest. With forty years of experience teaching, Richard has a mature expression and a solid handle on the practical value of awareness as well as the trap of not putting the experiential aspect of awareness first.
Jackie O'Keeffe, July 2009
Jackie and Scott discuss ghosts, why God as a belief doesn't cut it, the silence from which everything comes, and life without the personal "I." See Jackie's site at www.jackieokeeffe.com.
NEW-Unmani July 2009, Part 1
Part one of a two part series. Unmani takes you straight into the loving mystery of not-knowing only to find that you were already there. Her site is www.not-knowing.com.
Unmani July 2009, Part 2
Scott's discussion with Unmani, continued...
Jeff Saltzman, Boulder Integral, Part 1
This is, quite frankly, the clearest explanation of Integral Spirituality I've heard. Listen with an open mind.
Jeff Saltzman, Boulder Integral, Part 2
In this last, short part, Jeff and Scott discuss how nondual realization relates to Integral.
NEW-Jeff Saltzman, Boulder Integral, Part 3
"Nobody ever has any truth, just various degrees of falsehood." Ken Wilber. Shockingly, even nondual realization is only a partial view.
In this talk, Jeff Saltzman and Scott talk about Integral Theory as it pertains to states. Jeff and Scott discuss how causal emptiness is different from nonduality. Jeff explains that integral seems to really come online with the capacity to integrate views. At certain stages of our lives, we really believe that only our single view or interpretation or state is correct. In realizing causal emptiness, that seems to be an arriving point. The conceptual world falls away. The mountains vanish. But as they say in Zen, "the mountains return," but they are seen to be none other than your Self. And so the whole world comes alive at Integral: "Brahman is the world."
At integral, paradoxes are held. One no longer clings to only one view including the view that non-conceptual emptiness is the only view or that non-duality is some kind of end point. As emptiness is seen as none other than form, as the appearances are seen as not independent of awareness, there is the possibility of not clinging to any single form, or single view. This is a discovery of the world you thought you knew, but that now looks very different. At integral, every view is included. It is no longer about "only my view is true," the question becomes, "What else is true?"
Rabbi Marc Gafni, July 2009 Part 1
This is the first in a series with Rabbi Marc Gafni. Marc states that emptiness or pure awareness does not evolve. It is eternal and unchanging. Marc states that form does evolve (i.e., evolution being the capacity to take more perspectives rather than being identified only with one perspective). Self-realization is interpreted differently in different cultures and contexts yet there is a universal awareness in which those perspectives appear. Marc points directly to this larger field of perspectives and how Integral emerges as this seeing. When the "I" is no longer identified only with its perspective, whether that is a Christian, Buddhist, Advaita, Democratic, or some other perspective, and these perspectives become objects appearing in this "I" awareness, that is evolution. Stay tuned for later discussions with Marc. Marc and Scott will talk about one of the greatest contributions of post-modern philosophy: The myth of the given. The myth of the given calls into question all of the truth claims made throughout history as well as the validity of some modern spiritual interpretive frameworks.
Jeff Foster, June 2009, Part 1
In this two part audio, Jeff and Scott discuss Jeff's new book, "An Extraordinary Absence: Liberation in the Midst of a Very Ordinary Life." They reach into virtually every topic imaginable from the limitations of modern non-dual jargon, to "no self" as the new religion, to the nitty-gritty moment by moment way that non-duality really is (beyond the ideas we use to point to it), to excruciating physical pain, illness, and death, to washing testicles, to seeing that love has no point of reference and is appearing as every point of reference, to no longer even knowing that 'this' is about non-duality. Scott highly recommends Jeff's new book
Jeff Foster, June 2009, Part 2
Part 2 of the two part series.
Peter Dziuban, June 2009, Part 1
Part 1 of a two part series. Peter is the author of "Consciousness is All." Good and clear pointing to timeless ISness. Peter's pointing challenges the notion that anything "not here now" exists at all.
Peter Dziuban, June 2009, Part 2
Part 2 of a two part series
Susan Kahn, Non-Dual Therapist, June 2009
Her sites are www.whoamitherapy.com and www.nondualpoetry.com. Susan's approach has the unique capacity to meet 'you' where you are in the story, allowing you to question that story with the mind itself, and to eventually see that the story is unreal.
Ariel Bravy, April 2009
Ariel's site is youaretrulyloved.com. His pointing is refreshingly free of dogma and fundamentalism. His site contains a wide variety of ways of pointing to 'this.' It's a really full expression.
Living Realization Meeting, May 2009
This is a recording of a Living Realization skype meeting. To read the Living Realization text, visit the Writings page. To attend meetings, visit the Meetings page or contact Livingrealization@hotmail.com
Rupert Spira, March 2008
Rupert's site is rupertspira.com. Rupert is one of the clearest at pointing the mind out of the notion of separateness, revealing the consciousness that is our true identity.
Gary Crowley, March 2009
Gary's site is garycrowley.com. His book is "From Here to Here: Turning Toward Enlightenment." Gary relentlessly points to the fact that there is no choice.
John Astin, October 2008
This discussion with John hits on the big issues of identity, form v. formlessness, points of view and how they relate to the separate self sense, and many other issues. John's site is integrativearts.com. His blog is "Out Beyond Ideas" which is accessible through that site.
Jim Dreaver, September 2008
Jimdreaver.com. Jim wrote a book called, "End Your Story, Begin Your Life." That is a great pointer. He has authored several other books also including the recent one, "Falling Into Light."
Joan Tollifson, March 2009
See joantollifson.com. This quote from Joan's site says it all: "You know that you (as presence-awareness) are here, that something is happening. The bare actuality of being here is undeniable and impossible to doubt, needing no proof or belief. This presence (or emptiness) is the water in every wave. It cannot be grasped or possessed, and yet, it is always right here, unavoidable and thus unattainable. This is the jewel, and this jewel is showing up as absolutely everything."
Mokshananda, February 2009
Mokie's site is freewatersangha.com. Mokshananda ("Joe Sousa") lives in Santa Cruz, CA, where, in addition to his psychotherapy practice, he offers Satsang, intensives, retreats and Dokusan (private spiritual counseling). He also travels the western United States and Canada offering Satsang and intensives and teachings. In 1999, he was invited to teach by Adyashanti. In 2008, Ken Wilber invited Mokshananda to teach as part of Integral Institute's Integral Spiritual Center. This discussion talks about Integral Theory among other things. When there is an openness to the Integral framework, the entire universe begins to look different and feel very rich.
